sell my flat

I work for a bunch of wankers and I’m desperate to leave my job, but I can’t sell my flat. I want to move to Brazil.

Flat has parking, a river view etc Any ideas?

Yeah, that will sell easy. take it to somewhere like the house auctions. its a great potential for someone wanting to do up a flat with excellent views ans then they’ll probably rent it out. (:

I told everyone I know to sell their properties 6 months ago. Then rent for 2/3 years and then buy something similar for about 40% less. Nobody listened to me of course.

The interest on cap;ital would have just about paid the rent, and you wouldn’t have been watching your equity disappear.

Oh well, I sold at the top of the market and am now watching prices start to crash.

    I’m such a smart-ar.e

Put it with an agent for a valuation. Anything is worth something. If the flat is crappy and need of refurb then the price will reflect this. Lots of people look for a flat thats a bargain so that they can put their own stamp on it. You try markeiting the property yourself to avaid the agents fees but if you’re not very experienced in conveyancing then maybe let the agents do it for you.

If you want to acheive a higher price on the flat, then it’s worth investing a few thousand in gettig it done up yourself. Kitchen, Bathrooms are always priorities for buyers. Lick of paint and some laminate floors would not cost a lot but drastically give the flat that contempory feel thats in vogue at the moment If you have a garden, then tidy it up, put patio set there and gravel the lawn and put bark chips on the beds with few shrubs. Will look fab.
