how can I stop a repossession from becoming a reality?

I lost my job. I just got back on my feet. My mortgage lender is working with me, heck, my mortgage dropped 1000. The auto lender is Santander and is very ruthless and rude. I was written off as a P&L/Chargeoff. My question is how can I prevent them from repoing my vehicle?

At this point you have to come up with the full amount due and pay it off. Other wise the car will be repossessed . . . If they can find it.
talk to a credit union to buy it off of him.
